When about between 20-50% buffering I can hear the sound but once fully running at 100% the sound goes. I can get connection to the channels in sopcast but as soon as I try a different channel which I get from google and copy & paste it all that happens is channel retrying.Also another thing I noticed once a channel loads 100% the sound goes away. Tried to uninstall and then reinstall sopcast using your ppa but still no good. Like I said before I very new to Linux Mint so be gentle. I'm using the default preference in sopcast. I think it might be something simple but I can figure it out. I have tried other channels as well by just typing them into sopcast but no change. All it does is retrying to connect but yet I can double click on any of the existing channels and it works no problem I love to watch football on sopcast so it's football channels that I have used on the window machine. The issue is I can't seems to be able to copy and paste a channel into soipcast and get it to connect. Please can you assist to sort the proble. I must admit I only now saw this post of yours so did not use your instructions but googles and found someone elses instructions and I obviously did something wrong but my knowledge of linux is minimal so I can figure what I did wrong.
